1. Goal and approach
Zendure believes that reliable energy storage and intelligent energy management can support households in using distributed renewable energy more efficiently. We view environmentally conscious action as a component of product quality and long-term trust. We strive to reduce potential environmental impact throughout the entire lifecycle (design, production, transport, use, and end-of-life).
This statement describes Zendure’s principles and basic practices for environmental management, product sustainability, supply chain, packaging, and end-of-life approach.
2. Environmental management and compliance
Zendure strengthens environmental management based on applicable laws, regulations, and market access requirements, including by:
-
integrating environmental and compliance requirements into product planning, design reviews, supplier management, and quality processes;
-
identifying and managing environmental impacts, risks, and improvement opportunities regarding climate, resources, chemicals, waste, and water;
-
setting relevant requirements for supply chain partners within their scope of responsibility where appropriate;
-
supporting implementation with training, audits, and continuous improvement.
3. Climate and energy (focus on usage phase)
Zendure focuses on the usage phase and supports efficient energy utilization by:
-
enabling the storage and control of distributed renewable energy through product and system design;
-
improving operational efficiency while maintaining safety and performance (e.g., reducing unnecessary losses);
-
supporting compliant intelligent energy management that, depending on the situation, can reduce peak-price grid consumption and increase self-consumption. Results depend on local tariffs, behavior, solar conditions, and system configuration. Zendure also improves energy management within its own organization and increases the use of renewable or lower-carbon electricity where feasible and available, depending on local circumstances.
4. Circularity, packaging, and end-of-life
While maintaining performance, safety, and reliability, Zendure strives for:
-
a preference for recyclable and compliant materials and reduced unnecessary material complexity;
-
better durability and, where possible, support for reasonable maintenance and repair;
-
reduction of packaging and logistics impact (optimized structure, less wasted space, improved recyclability, fewer single-use materials where possible);
-
compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements for battery-powered products, including transport regulations. End-of-life/take-back: options vary by country/region, product category, and local compliance schemes/authorized partners. Where legally and practically available, Zendure supports proper collection and processing via compliant partners.
5. Restricted substances and prevention
Zendure manages restricted substances and pollution risks according to applicable legal and customer requirements by:
-
ensuring relevant material compliance (e.g., RoHS/REACH where applicable) through supplier onboarding and material management;
-
encouraging suppliers to identify, substitute, and control processes, with declarations or test evidence where required;
-
preventatively managing and disposing of waste, emission, and leakage risks in production, storage, and logistics in compliance with regulations.
6. Evidence, transparency, and legal status
-
Substantiation: for specific environmental claims in external communications, Zendure maintains appropriate evidence and defines scope, conditions, and limitations.
-
No general “green” claims: Zendure avoids broad/absolute statements without substantiation or with a risk of misleading.
-
Non-binding: this statement describes goals and management approaches and does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or legally binding obligation, unless explicitly set out in a separate written agreement.
7. Updates and language precedence
Zendure may update this statement as regulations and systems evolve. Language precedence: in case of discrepancies, the English version applies.
