What are the improvements of AB2000S over AB2000?

While the AB2000 already had the self-heating function, the AB2000S battery is now equipped with an aerosol fire suppression system for added safety and protection.

Like their predecessors, both the AB2000 and AB2000S share the same rugged housing and battery management system, which provides protection against overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuiting.

How does AB2000S work?

The AB2000S can be combined with various hosts, such as the Hyper 2000, Ace 1500, Hub 2000, or Hub 1200, to create a solar energy system. The host automatically adjusts the charging and discharging of the AB2000S based on the user's settings in the Zendure app.

-When the solar energy output exceeds your household's energy needs, the host will store the excess energy in the battery.

-When the solar power output is lower than your household's energy needs, the host will instruct the battery to discharge and supply energy to the household in combination with the energy from the solar panels.

- At night, when solar power is not available, the energy stored in the battery will be used to power your home.

-When the battery is fully charged, the solar power output is greater than 20W, and the actual output to the house is 30W or more, the system will automatically switch to bypass mode and stop charging and discharging the battery.

How does the self-heating function of AB2000S work?

The battery is equipped with a self-heating membrane that automatically activates when the temperature drops below 0℃ and heats the cells with solar energy to ensure the batteries can be charged even at temperatures as low as -20℃.

At what temperature do the batteries start working again if the ambient temperature is too cold?

To prevent repeated cycling of the self-heating function, the batteries will begin charging again once the internal temperature rises above 0℃.

How do I activate the self-heating function of the AB2000S?

The battery's self-heating function is fully automatic. If the battery doesn't activate the self-heating function at temperatures below 0°C, please contact us.
