10,000 cycles | 15-year lifespan | 10-year warranty

Built for daily use. Made for the long haul.

With 10,000 cycles, the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro is designed for intensive use and long-term value. Based on 2 full charge and discharge cycles per day, the lifespan can reach approximately 15 years. Even at the end of its service life, the battery can still maintain an EOL SOH of 70%.

90% RTE

Save more. Keep more.

A round-trip efficiency of 90% means less loss between charging and discharging, and therefore more usable energy at home. For households that use their home battery daily, this means more self-consumption and greater long-term savings.

* 95% charging efficiency on the panel side × 95% discharging efficiency on the panel side ≈ 90.25%. Tested in the Zendure lab. The final interpretation rests with the laboratory. Actual RTE may be lower due to cabling, temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors.

AC-coupled PV inverter + high-voltage MPPT

Stronger for new installations. Smarter for retrofitting.

SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro supports up to 8 kW dual MPPT with high-voltage PV input, making it particularly suitable for larger new solar installations. In appropriate configurations, the system can be built more directly, with fewer additional system components.
At the same time, the SolarFlow Mix Series features a new input for an AC-coupled PV inverter. This allows AC power from an existing rooftop installation to be utilized, which is ideal for retrofit projects where existing cabling and system structure are preserved as much as possible. This reduces installation complexity and helps limit retrofit costs. With the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro, the MPPT solar input and this new input can together reach up to 13 kW of total solar input.

Keep your existing inverter. Add a home battery more easily.

SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro works with common PV inverters for rooftop installations and is therefore particularly suitable for households that already have solar panels and want to add a home battery later. The existing inverter and a large part of the original cabling can be retained for a faster, neater, and more cost-efficient upgrade.

4 kW bidirectional AC power

Meets the needs of the vast majority of household appliances

The SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro breaks through the power ceiling of balcony storage without changing the user's plug-and-play habits.

3680 W off-grid output | 7.2 kW peak power | 10 ms UPS
In the event of a power outage, the power keeps running, both day and night.
At night, the system can continue to power essential devices via the off-grid output. For devices with a high inrush current, the 7.2 kW peak power offers extra margin. If the grid fails during the day, connected solar energy can continue to charge the system. This allows emergency power to grow into a much more complete off-grid solution.

Solar energy keeps working, even if the grid goes down.
A grid failure does not have to shut down the energy loop.
In suitable configurations, connected solar panels can continue to charge the battery and power off-grid loads, even if the public grid fails during the day. This keeps the energy flow in the system active.

8 kWh capacity | expandable to 50 kWh

Strong as a standalone unit. Ready to grow with you later.

With 8 kWh, a single unit already offers sufficient capacity for many essential home applications and light commercial use. If more backup, longer runtime, or a larger energy system is needed later, the capacity simply grows along with your needs.

Installation & Connection

Which installation methods does the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro support?

The SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro supports two grid-tied installation methods: · Plug-and-play: connects directly to a household wall outlet for faster and simpler installation. · Hardwiring: connected to the home's electrical system by a qualified electrician, allowing for a higher grid-tied output if installation conditions permit.

What is the maximum grid-connected output power for plug-and-play and for fixed wiring?

For a plug-and-play setup, the maximum adjustable grid-tied output power is 3 kW. With hardwiring, this can be increased to 5 kW, provided that local regulations and installation conditions allow it. Please note: the inverter itself has a nominal capacity of 4 kW. An output power of 5 kW is only possible in a situation with an external AC-coupled PV input.

What is the LAN port used for?

The LAN port is used to connect the device to a router or switch in the home via an RJ45 cable. This helps reduce communication latency and improve connection stability.

What is the 485 communication port used for?

The 485 communication port is intended for wired communication between devices. It can be used with Zendure Smart CT devices such as the 3CT-S and 1CT-S, and, depending on the final system configuration and wiring guidelines, also acts as a system-level communication interface for Zendure ecosystem products such as the PowerHub.

What are the disconnect switches on the device used for?

The isolator switches are used to manually disconnect important modules during installation, wiring, and maintenance, for added safety. The SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro is equipped with: · a PV isolator switch · a battery isolator switch

The device is heavy. How should it be safely moved and secured?

The device features an integrated design with casters and support legs. Before moving, ensure that the support legs are retracted and the wheels can roll freely. Always push the device from the side, not from the front or back, to prevent tipping. If the device needs to be lifted, a minimum of 2 to 3 adults is recommended. Once the device is in place, the support legs should be lowered and it must be properly secured. An optional Zendure Power Trolley is also available. The device weighs 80 kg.

Solar Energy & Generation

What is the PV-IN AC port used for?

The PV-IN AC port is designed for connecting a non-plug-in single-phase PV inverter. This allows an existing PV roof system to be integrated more easily into the SolarFlow Mix series. The main advantages are: · an additional installation option outside the main distribution board, · saving space in the distribution board and on circuit breaker/fuse positions, · the ability for the external PV inverter to continue charging the battery or powering off-grid loads during a power outage. If a third-party inverter produces more power than the battery can absorb and the connected loads can consume, and feeding back into the grid is not permitted, the system will activate a protective control mechanism.

What are the DC-PV input specifications of the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro?

The SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro features two independent MPPTs and supports a total maximum of 8000 W DC-PV input (4000 W × 2). Each MPPT supports PV strings from 30 to 400 V, with a startup voltage of 30 V and a maximum short-circuit current of 18 A (Isc) per MPPT. When designing the strings, the Voc, Vmp, and Imp values of the modules should be taken into account. Additionally, it is recommended that modules connected to the same MPPT preferably have the same orientation.

Should the PV modules be connected in series or in parallel?

For the MPPT inputs of the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro, series connection is supported; parallel connection is not supported. Before connecting, check that the open circuit voltage of the PV string does not exceed 400 V. Additionally, confirm that neither pole is short-circuited to ground.

What is the output power of the off-grid AC port?

The off-grid AC port provides continuous output power up to 3680 W, with a peak power of 7200 W for 200 ms. It is a bidirectional port, meaning it can both power loads and receive AC input from an external PV inverter.

Can the off-grid output also be manually switched on without internet or an app?

Yes. Even without an internet connection or app, users can still operate the off-grid connection locally: double-press the power button to switch the off-grid output on or off.

Why can solar yield decrease on very hot days, even if the sun is shining brightly?

That's normal. Solar panels generally lose efficiency at higher temperatures, so bright sunshine doesn't always automatically mean maximum power is being delivered.

Battery & Charging/Discharging

Does the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro support expansion with additional batteries? Where can the additional battery pack be purchased?

Yes, the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro and SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ support expansion with additional battery packs.
