10,000 cycles | 15 years lifespan | 10 years warranty

Built for everyday use. Made for the long term.

With 10,000 cycles, SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ is designed for intensive use and long-term value. Based on 2 full charge and discharge cycles per day, its lifespan can extend up to approximately 15 years. Even at the end of its life, the battery can still maintain an EOL SOH of 70%.

90% RTE

Store more. Retain more.

A round-trip efficiency of 90% means less loss between charging and discharging, and therefore more usable energy in the home. For households that use their home battery daily, this means higher self-consumption and greater long-term savings.

* 95% charge efficiency on the panel side × 95% discharge efficiency on the panel side ≈ 90.25%. Tested in the Zendure lab. The final interpretation rests with the laboratory. The actual RTE may be lower due to cabling, temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors.

100% compatible with PV inverters for rooftop installations

Keep your existing inverter. Add a home battery more easily.

SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ works with common PV inverters for rooftop installations, making it particularly suitable for households that already have solar panels and want to add a home battery later. The existing inverter and a large part of the original cabling can be retained, allowing for a faster, cleaner, and more cost-efficient upgrade.

4 kW Bi-directional AC Power

Meets the needs of most household appliances

The SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ increases the output capacity of a single circuit from the usual 3680W to 4000W, and can reach a maximum AC output of 5000W in PV bypass mode, making it more suitable for high household loads during peak hours.

3680 W off-grid output | 7.2 kW peak power | 10 ms UPS
In the event of a power outage, the power continues to flow, day and night.
At night, the system can continue to power essential devices via the off-grid output. For devices with a high inrush current, the 7.2 kW peak power offers an extra margin. If the grid fails during the day, connected solar energy can continue to charge the system. This way, emergency power evolves into a much more complete off-grid solution.

Solar power continues to work, even if the grid fails.
A grid outage does not have to stop the energy loop.
In suitable configurations, connected solar panels can continue to charge the battery and power off-grid consumers, even if the public grid goes down during the day. This keeps the energy flow in the system active.

8 kWh capacity | expandable to 50 kWh

Strong as a standalone unit. Ready to grow with you later.

At 8 kWh, one unit already offers sufficient capacity for many essential household applications and light commercial use. If more backup, longer runtime, or a larger energy system is needed later, the capacity simply grows with your needs.

Installation & Connection

Which installation methods does the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ support?

The SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ supports two grid-tied installation methods: · Plug-and-play: connects directly to a household outlet for faster and simpler installation. · Fixed wiring: connected to the home's electrical system by a qualified electrician, allowing for higher grid-tied output if installation conditions permit.

What is the maximum grid-connected output power for plug-and-play and for fixed wiring?

For a plug-and-play setup, the maximum adjustable grid-connected output power is 3 kW. With fixed wiring, this can be increased to 5 kW, provided that local regulations and installation conditions allow it. Please note: the inverter itself has a nominal capacity of 4 kW. An output power of 5 kW is only possible in a situation with an external AC-coupled PV input.

What is the LAN port used for?

The LAN port is used to connect the device to a router or switch in the house via an RJ45 cable. This helps to reduce communication delay and improve connection stability.

Solar Energy & Generation

What is the 485 communication port used for?

The 485 communication port is intended for wired communication between devices. It can be used with Zendure Smart CT devices such as the 3CT-S and 1CT-S, and depending on the final system configuration and wiring guidelines, it also functions as a system-level communication interface for Zendure ecosystem products such as the PowerHub.

What are the disconnect switches on the device for?

The disconnect switches are used to manually disconnect important modules during installation, wiring and maintenance, for added safety. The SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ is equipped with: · a PV disconnect switch · a battery disconnect switch

The appliance is heavy. How should it be moved and secured safely?

The unit has an integrated design with swivel castors and support legs. Before moving, ensure that the support legs are retracted and the wheels can roll freely. Always push the unit from the side, not from the front or back, to prevent tipping. If the unit needs to be lifted, a minimum of 2 to 3 adults are recommended. Once the unit is in place, the support legs must be lowered and secured. A Zendure Power Trolley is also available as an option. The unit weighs 80 kg.

What is the PV-IN AC port used for?

The PV-IN AC port is designed for connecting a non-plug-in single-phase PV inverter. This simplifies the integration of an existing PV rooftop system into the SolarFlow Mix series. The main advantages are: · an additional installation option outside the main distribution box, · saving space in the distribution box and circuit breaker/fuse positions, · the possibility for the external PV inverter to continue charging the battery or powering off-grid loads during a power outage. If a third-party inverter produces more power than the battery can absorb and the connected loads can consume, and feed-in to the grid is not allowed, the system activates a protection mechanism.

Which type of solar input does the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ use?

The SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ is primarily designed for AC-coupled rooftop solar energy systems with storage. Unlike the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro, it does not utilize the same high-voltage dual MPPT DC-PV input architecture.

Can the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ be connected to an existing PV inverter on the roof?

Yes. Via the PV-IN AC port, the system supports AC-coupled integration with a third-party single-phase PV inverter, making it highly suitable for retrofit storage applications with existing rooftop PV systems.

What is the output power of the off-grid AC port?

The off-grid AC port provides a continuous output power of up to 3680 W, with a peak power of 7200 W for 200 ms. It is a bidirectional port, which means it can both power loads and receive AC input from an external PV inverter.

Can the off-grid output be switched on manually without internet or an app?

Yes. Users can enable or disable the off-grid connection locally by pressing the power button twice in quick succession.

If my house is already equipped with a PV roof system, can it still generate power during a power outage?

Yes. If the PV inverter on the roof is connected via the PV-IN AC path and configured as part of the system, it can continue to charge the battery and power off-grid loads during a power outage.

Why might power output decrease in very hot weather?

Because solar panels become less efficient at high temperatures, bright sunshine does not always automatically mean higher power output.

Battery & Charging/Discharging

Does the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ support expansion with additional batteries? Where can the additional battery pack be purchased?

Yes. Both the SolarFlow 4000 Mix Pro and the SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ support additional battery packs. The system supports a maximum of 6 packs, with a total system capacity of over 50 kWh. However, the additional battery pack for the Mix series has not yet been officially released. Availability is expected to be announced in the fourth quarter.

Smart Control & Grid Connection

How is the SF4000 installed for grid-tied use?

The SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ supports both of the following installation methods for grid-tied use: · a plug-and-play grid-tied installation for faster commissioning, and · a hardwired grid-tied installation for higher output power and a more complete integration into the home's energy system. To enable higher grid-tied power, hardwiring by a qualified electrician is generally required. The household circuit, circuit breaker, distribution board capacity, and local regulations must be checked beforehand. A separate 32A / 30mA RCBO is recommended for a hardwired installation.

Can a single SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ unit provide off-grid backup power for the entire house?

No. A single SolarFlow 4000 Mix AC+ does not, by itself, support a full off-grid backup power supply for the entire home.

Why is it recommended to connect the system to a router or Smart CT?

By connecting the system to a router or Smart CT, you benefit from several advantages: · lower communication latency, · more stable data transfer, · faster load detection and control response, · and better coordination in more advanced home energy systems.

Must the grid-tied output power comply with local regulations?

Yes. Because the system is grid-tied, the actual feed-in/output value set must comply with local regulations, certification requirements, and installation codes. It is recommended to set the output power in the app according to local compliance rules and to have the installation checked by a qualified installer.

How should the battery be maintained during long-term storage?

For long-term storage, the battery must first be discharged to 30% and then recharged to 60% every 3 months. If the battery level has dropped below 1% after use, it must be recharged to 60% before storage to prevent irreversible damage caused by a battery level that is too low for an extended period.

What are the recommended installation conditions for daily use?

It is recommended to install the device in a location that: · is in the shade and protected from direct sunlight, · is well-ventilated, · is away from heat sources, standing water, and flammable or explosive materials, · and has stable Wi-Fi coverage. Leave at least 5 cm of clearance at the back of the device for heat dissipation. Additionally, a minimum of 15 cm of free, unobstructed space must be maintained on the antenna side.

What is the correct shutdown and disconnection sequence if the device needs to be removed or decommissioned?

The recommended sequence is: 1 Disconnect the AC power cable 2 Switch off and disconnect the third-party PV inverter 3 Switch off the device 4 Disconnect the extra battery 5 Finally, remove the PE earthing cable Full service work or dismantling must be performed by qualified personnel.

What else should users pay attention to during regular maintenance?

When the device is in operation, no cables may be connected or disconnected, and the terminals must not be touched.
